BHARAT SEVASHRAM SANGHA

Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a vast network of volunteers across the globe dedicated to helping people in distress. The Sangha's social welfare activities include disaster relief, spreading education, providing healthcare facilities, vocational training and upliftment of the tribals.

The Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a spiritual brotherhood of monks and selfless workers dedicated to the service of humanity with non-sectarian, non-communal, non-political character and outlook. It was founded in 1917 by the illustrious patriot Saint Yugacharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj.

The Sangha is a pioneer in organising relief work at the time of natural calamities like flood, epidemic, famine, earthquake etc. It has hundreds of branches in India and abroad. Acharaya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj was an illustrious patriot and a great spiritual leader of modern India, known and revered for his invaluable contributions to the world not merely through preaching but practically demonstrating the essence of universal love, social service and reformation of the society, nationalistic zeal and above all superlative spiritual power. In a life span of less than 45 years ( 29th January, 1896 to 8th January, 1941) the Acharya left an impact unparalleled in the history of Indian spiritualism that has continually been guiding the entire human race towards peace and prosperity- epitomizing the Vedic ideals. The Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a spiritual brotherhood of monks and selfless workers devoted to the service to humanity. It is purely philanthropic and charitable organisation with non-sectarian, non-communal and non-political character and outlook. The main activities of the Sangha are to help selflessly the distressed sick and poor people of the society. The central objective is to build the nation based on Sanatan Vedic Culture.
